Who is Evans Avionics LLC?
Mark Evans (Owner & Technician): Mark started his Avionics career at Ferris State University receiving a degree
in Avionics Technology. It was at Ferris that Mark met his beautiful wife Patty. He then went on to his first job in
the avionics field at Airtronics in Pontiac, Michigan.
After two years in Pontiac Mark moved to Aero Services in Saginaw for the next six years. Mark then started the
avionics shop at Harbour Air Inc. in Traverse City, Michigan.
It was fourteen years later in 2001 that Mark decided to start his own Aircraft Avionics business. We now know it
as Evans Avionics LLC.
Not only is Mark Evans one of the top Avionics Technicians in the country (Awarded as the 2008 Avionics
Technician of the year for Michigan) but he is also a fantastic pilot, currently holding his commercial, twin engine
and Instrument flight ratings. Mark is very involved in the community and his church, and even puts his love of
people and flying together by volunteering his time by flying for the Wings of Mercy organization.
It is Mark's dedication to customer service, extensive knowledge of flight and aircraft avionics technology, and
attention to flight safety that makes Evans Avionics LLC the successful business that it is.
